Fall semester continues after the traditional winter break, beginning on Monday, January 9. Instruction begins at 8:00 a.m., with our regular series of core curriculum offerings.

Join our CAHSEE Prep Class Now

CHS/Elysian Valley branch is currently running a one-week CAHSEE prep class, from Tuesday, January 3 through Saturday, January 7. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 2:00 p.m.

CAHSEE Prep covers Math and English portions of the California High School Exit Exam, a requirement for graduation from all LAUSD high schools. In the past, CAHSEE Prep has proven a successful way to prepare for the exam.

Veteran’s Day Holiday

On Friday, November 11, we celebrate Veteran’s Day, a national holiday to honor our nation’s military veterans. Central High, along with all other LAUSD schools, will be closed on Friday. We will return to school on Monday, November 14.
